Meet Tandy.
Innate Wellness Specialist, BS in Clinical Psychology, and former nurse and medic in the US ArmyIn May of 2010, I got the call that every daughter dreads. My mother had passed away. I was on active duty in the Army. I called my then-husband and told him. He asked if I wanted him to come down to Fort Carson. I said absolutely! When the day ended, I called to tell him I was done. He asked, "Do you still want me to come down?"
That was the moment I woke up to the kind of marriage I was in. My mother had just died, and my husband was asking if I still needed him. He never came.
Before she died, my mom had warned me: "Keep your eyes wide open. This is exactly how your father was before he started getting physically abusive." She was right. He was controlling, an addict, and very emotionally and verbally abusive.
Through regression therapy and deep mentorship, I realized I didn't have to stay the person I'd been. I chose victor over victim. Then, one warm August day, I discovered the principles of innate wellness. For the first time, I could look back at my story without feeling the weight of it. I'd finally learned to forgive, let go, and leave the past where it belongs.
I have lived proof that you don't need years to transform. You need the right understanding at the right time. And that is innate wellness.
